Prelude

The moon shone brightly in the dark night sky. Two men marched towards a house on the end of a cliff. The men had bright white and gold armor. Each bore a giant glamorous sword. Its hilt attired beautiful gems. They stopped right at the door of the house.

“Open up!” They both shouted in unison.

There was a family inside.

“No! They’re here!”The husband shouted, “Take our child.”

“No! Just come with me, Charles!” The woman exclaimed.

“I’ll hold them off!” The husband (Charles) ran to the door.

BOOOOM!!

The husband was shunned back as two men rushed in. The lock on the had door snapped. Charles quickly got up. But the men were faster. One struck Charles while the other swung down his sword. It caught him straight in his neck. The sword slid through his body and he was sliced in half.

The wife ran as fast as she could.

“Stop Her!” One of the men shunned his sword back in the body with anger.

The other simultaneously pulled out a dual-bladed boomerang, he flung it. It zoomed throughout the air and plunged into her back. She flopped onto the ground, no life left in her.

“Take the child!” One soldier commanded.

The other recovered the child. He jabbed a couple of buttons on his wrist and then held it to his mouth.

“We got the boy.” He stated.

“Ok.” Somebody’s voice was projected through his wrist. “Good work…”

Chapter 1

10 Years Later…

“This day, today, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the cloning enterprise. Where we ceased all Human business and replaced them with clones. The last shipment of humans was delivered on May 23, 3048. Where they were executed for the sake of the world. The cloning enterprise was the first step into winning this war. In the beginning, the 3 other nations arose indeed, much faster than us. The Cybernets, they were once part of our unified nation but they started a Civil War and broke away. They ultimately formed their own country, and they now use their brain and robotic power to rocket up in strength and power. The Couternicusuliium, the Aliens that invaded our once blessed Earth. They terrorized our world until the nations together oppressed them into North America. And from the ashes of that forsaken place, (North America), the Vanguards arose. They migrated to South America and soon grew in size and power. Then there are us… We were crippled when the Cybernets abandoned us. They took most of our men, most of our weapons, most of everything. We had to snatch back men to join our military; we eventually started regaining our place in the war. Then the Four Impossibles arose, one from each great nation. They strived to bring peace to the nations… In the grimmest possible way. They obliterated everything. We once again were left in the ashes. That's when we started our clone enterprise, when us The Crone started winning this war!”

Llynch turned off the projector that came from his wrist. Llynch was a twelve year-old boy. He attended Jaggo Elementary Military Training Outpost. Although he didn’t really have a choice; he was a clone for the Crone. But not a normal clone. First off, he was created somewhere over Foamme; he is believed to be the last one of the from there, since its all ruins now. Second, his appearance. Normal clones have jet black hair, are very strong, and have a well-built face. Well, Llynch's hair was at least somewhat close, he had brownish-black hair. He was also pretty strong, but his face looked nothing like normal clones. His eyes were brilliant yellow, which was unimaginably rare, even with non-clones. Llynch had always wanted to meet another aberration. That’s what people called different clones. Llynch had never met another aberration because they’re usually terminated when they show up in the cloning circuit.

Llynch was sprawled up on the floor. He was thinking about being transferred to his new training outpost. Once you reach the age of Thirteen you are transferred to another outpost. He hoped to meet other aberrations.

“Maybe, they would actually like me” Llynch thought.

Llynch had no friends, mostly due to the fact that he was an aberration, but also because he was exceptionally bad at training. His hands were too large to properly fit the swords, so he had to hold the hilt very awkwardly.

The rest of the day went by rather fast compared to how he thought it would be. He was no later getting into his sleeping pod until he was loading AeroLevel Convoy. Or at least that’s what it felt like.

Llynch chose to sit near the back because of the sheer size of the number of people there. He counted at least 200 people. He stuck all his luggage in the rafters. Which was considerably more than everyone else. He liked collecting useless and dysfunctional stuff. Others thought it was mindless, but lots of it actually came in handy at times.

The trip to his new outpost whooshed by. Llynch spent most of his time playing games on his projector. Which was a huge waste of time. Since he got all the way to the last level then died, which then sent him all the way back to the beginning of the game. He then built his back up to the final level then repeated the same process, in which he died. He got a lot more mad the second time around than the first. After that, he decided to never play games again. But, around thirty minutes later he went back to video games.

Llynch finally beat the game right as they pulled in to the station. It took around ten minutes to disembark the AeroLevel Convoy. Llynch finally stepped out. In front of him was a ginormous building. Llynch guessed it was at least over a mile wide and one-hundred stories tall. Llynch was suddenly shoved out of the way.

“Oh, sorry…” Llynch said awkwardly. He accidentally clogged up the doorway.

Llynch took a step outside, even the ground was beautiful. I had an amazing pattern on it, it encrusted with blue gems too.

Some surly looking clone was yelling, “New arrivals over here!”

Llynch jogged over to him.

“Oh, so we got an aberration with us, don't we!” He grimaced at Llynch “We’ll have fun with you.”

Llynch tried to ignore this but the clone just kept staring at him. Llynch did seem to attract lots of attention people from all over were goggling at him. Some laughed, some looked at him disapprovingly, and some truly looked sorry for him. He tried ignoring this too, but it happened so frequently that he just decided to stare at the pattern on the ground.

Soon all the new arrivals met up with Llynch and the surly looking clone.

“Ok guys, let's get to your first training session” He grinned slyly at this.

“Training already! What about a tour! Can’t we meet up with the other new arrivals!? Wha-” Llynch was stopped by the clone.

“Ok, you may think your funny but your not! And by the way,” He amplified his voice so the other clones could hear, “The map of the outpost has been encrypted into your minds!”

“Oh, cause that was so obvious,” Llynch muttered to himself.

He trailed the back of the group, fuming. They finally reached the training ring after around 30 minutes of walking.

“Here you go; you guys will be sparring with the group by the name of The Black Scorpion.” Droned in a monotone voice.

Llynch heard him mutter “Really stupid name.” under his breath, but Llynch could sense a hint of jealousy.

The doors to the training ring opened, steam rolled out from the doors, and the cloning group walked in. There was an admiral inside.

“Hello, and welcome,” He smiled “This is the Inductee Training Sanctum, you will be placed into your faction in accord to how well you perform in this training session.”

They gathered up their gear, Llynch noticed that there were swords big enough for his hands. He also suit up with his armor and shield. Once they were all ready, another door opened. In there was the most colossal training ring he had ever seen, it was at least twice as large as the ones in his old outpost. The training ring glowed white then a voice was projected throughout the ring.

“Choosing a random section.”

The white glow was now replaced with red. The ring parted and moved to the edges, and up came a forest covered in snow. It finally reached ground level and the ring boomed from the speakers…

“Prepare for battle in 3… 2… 1……………… Fight…”

At the other side of the ring, another group in black armor started charging forward. The new clones immediately congregated. Llynch rushed to the center of the mass.

One of the clones with a big scar on his cheek stepped into the center. “Ok, guys I think we should go and rush them.”

There were lots of agreement to these words, but Llynch thought otherwise.

“No,” Llynch shuffled nervously, “We should stay on the defense. Maybe V-formation?”

Lots of murmuring accompanied Lynch's’ words.

“Yeah. Yeah. That’s a good idea.” One clone remarked, “You can tell by their armor that they're an offensive faction.”

“Yeah that’s right” another clone nodded agreeably, “They’ve got a lighter chest pad which gives them an advantage at running.”

“Let's use the V-formation!” Llynch shouted, “We already know we need to use the defensive.”

“Who are we to take orders from an aberration?!” Someone shouted menacingly.

“Come on guys they're getting closer!” Another clone cautioned.

Llynch looked over his shoulder they were indeed getting dangerously close.

“Let’s just use the V-formation!” Another clone said after a moment’s reflection at the oncoming enemies.

“GET IN FORMATION!” The clone in the middle seemed to decide it was better to act now then discuss further.

Everyone scurried around into a giant v. Llynch shuffled around so he was near the back of the group. Once they were all where they were meant to be, the formation looked pretty solid. The outside of the battlefield was the most foremost group, as you move towards the center the formation moves back, forming a big v. Which gives a big advantage to the defenders.

All the while The Black Scorpion inched towards the newcomers. They were getting closer and closer. There were lots of nervous movements from the clones. The Black Scorpion was now twenty meters away.

“READY UP!” The clone in the center bellowed.

At these words, the comrades in the front raised their spears. The innermost soldiers tensed up, focusing more on the oncoming soldiers. Every eye was focused on the Black Scorpion’s. They were now only 5 meters away… 3… 1… They clashed straight into the newcomers.

The Scorpions dominated in battle. In the first twenty seconds, the whole front line was overtaken. Llynch was engulfed with nervousness. Meanwhile, the Scorpions still crept up. Llynch readied up pointing his blade towards the oncomers. They were getting closer...closer...closer. Finally, they burst through the lines. One rushed to Llynch. He cast a swing at Llynch. He sidled his blade right in time as the two blades crashed together. With the momentum of the crash, Llynch was shunned to the ground. He fell hard, from the corner of his eye he could see his opponent approaching again. Llynch shuffled up; but he was too late. The Black Scorpion knight struck him straight in the back. Llynch collapsed onto his stomach.

This was it, his chances to get into a good faction were gone he was going to get the lowest group there was, he just knew it. He waited for the hit to come, but it never did, he opened his eyes, which had been screwed up waiting for the blow. He then looked up where the Black Scorpion was before, but nothing was there. Llynch peered around and found that he had been struck to the head by one of Lynch's combatants. Llynch scrambled up and continued fighting. Another Black Scorpion came towards him, but this time Llynch was ready. The enemy swung but Llynch parried his sword. He was off balance, which Llynch took to his advantage. He struck the hilt of the sword, sending it flying.

The enemy tried to escape, but Llynch struck him in his head. The helmet split in two, as the soldier collapsed at Llynch’s feet. Lynch felt so great that was the first time he had ever bested someone in a fight
